Leading up to PIPS Day...
The next few months are an exciting time for UC Hasting's Public Interest/Public Service-minded law students: the lead up to Public Service/Public Interest Day! (Most commonly referred to as "PIPS Day" (each letter sounded out)). PIPS Day could best be described as an OCI (On-Campus Interview) or EIP (Early Interview Program) with a sole focus on public service and public interest organizations. These organizations include state and federal government offices of every type and level, district attorney's and public defender's officers, and non-profit organizations covering everything from employment law to environmental law. UC Hastings has the distinction of hosting the only event of this type in the Bay Area, and other schools come here for our PIPS day! Over the next few weeks, we are going to have various orientation events to help you prepare for PIPS day, and it is highly recommended that you attend as many as you can and learn what this day is all about! The events are planned as follows:
Hope to see you all at these events and at PIPS day! The Hpilf Board
